Digital Golf Network Swings Through BAM

Digital Golf Network enlisted BAM’s audio talents to help produce their new web video.  The viral, created by DGN President Mike Buhrow, helps to demonstrate the company’s sales and marketing strategy to perspective clients. BAM Studios’ Associate Audio Engineer, Philip von During had the opportunity to sound design the presentation which can be viewed on DGN’s website.

Digital Golf Network is an innovative marketing tool that allows golfers to view themselves on the golf course by use of two different camera angles set on a par 3 hole.  The cameras are set up so that one is placed near the tee while the other is placed near the green.  What the cameras capture on the field is what is played on half of a plasma screen, which is situated within the clubhouse, while the other half of the screen is used for advertising products and specials.  The cameras are set up for a delay, allowing the golfers that are filmed to be able to watch themselves in the clubhouse once they have completed the course.
