Last week at BAM, we welcomed actor and musician Joe Keery into Studio A for ADR sessions on an upcoming television project, engineered by Matt Sauro.
This wasn’t Joe’s first time at BAM — we’ve had the pleasure of working with him before, recording ADR for the NBC show Chicago Fire in 2015 and on other projects in 2016. 🔥 🎬
Joe is recognized worldwide for his breakout role as Steve Harrington in Netflix’s global phenomenon Stranger Things, and has since expanded his career with standout performances in Free Guy (2021), Spree (2020), and most recently Fargo: Season 5 (2023–24). 🌎 ❄️
Beyond acting, Joe is also a successful musician under the name Djo, with acclaimed albums including Twenty Twenty (2019), Decide (2022), and the recently released The Crux (2025). His single “End of Beginning” became a viral anthem earlier this year, cementing his reputation as a creative force across both screen and stage. 🎶
